On November 26 (3:00 PM EST), Monday, the six-month-long journey of NASA's InSight will come to a halt momentarily as it will land on the red planet. The spacecraft has covered the passage of hundreds of millions of miles of deep space to reach its destination
Interestingly, the craft will hit the Mars land at a pace of 12,300 miles per hour. To put that into perspective, it's the speed faster than a bullet.
